Ronaldo told reporters after Al Nassr’s victory: “They say Ronaldo is over and out of time, but that’s not the case. I want to prove my critics wrong. I will keep playing until my legs say: “Cristiano, I’m tired”.

I still have a lot to do in football. I never thought about stopping playing. I still love football and like to score as many goals as possible. There was always a passion in me to win. A lot of people say I’m out of time, but I’m still showing them that that’s not the case.”

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has started this season in excellent form, scoring 9 goals and 5 assists in 8 appearances. Ronaldo’s performances show that although he is past his peak, he still retains a high level of form that makes the Portuguese superstar one of the best players in football history.
