According to local rumors, FIFA is on the verge of constructing a brand-new office in Miami after securing a lease in The Magic City, following in the footsteps of Lionel Messi.
The 60,000-square-foot office space is located in the opulent Coral Gables neighborhood, inside the same building as HBO’s headquarters at 396 Alhambra Circle.
Furthermore, FIFA’s new office will be only six streets away from Miracle Mile, an affluent shopping complex with entertainment and restaurants.
FIFA’s latest action comes three years before the opening of the 2026 World Cup in the United States, Canada, and Mexico, and just weeks after Messi finalized his free transfer to Inter Miami of the Major League Soccer.
‘As part of ongoing preparations for the FIFA World Cup 2026, which is expected to be the world’s largest and most exciting athletic event, FIFA has built an office in Miami,’ a FIFA spokeswoman told World Soccer Talk.

FIFA is reportedly looking for a payroll manager, a security officer, and an accountant for its Miami headquarters.
The world’s soccer governing body is wasting no time in recruiting for its next major international competition, already publishing job postings for employees who will be based in the new office.
Accountants, payroll managers, and safety/security officers are among the positions available.
FIFA has been contacted for comment by DailyMail.com.
Soccer is on the upswing in the United States, particularly in Miami, following Messi’s arrival last month. David Beckham, former England captain and one of two Inter Miami co-owners, also lives in Miami.

Miami is also a favorite holiday destination for soccer stars such as Neymar and Paul Pogba.
Miami is also one of the locations that will host the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be the first event of its kind to feature 48 participants, a 16-team increase over the previous seven championships.
According to The Athletic, Argentina’s national soccer association, AFA, is also developing an official training facility in the city, with construction beginning in April.
Many soccer players vacation in Miami, including Neymar, Vinicius Jr, and Paul Pogba, who were all spotted there this summer.
A YouGov online survey of professional soccer fans from around the United States revealed last month that 10% of those polled wanted the 2026 World Cup final to be held in Miami.
New York/New Jersey took first place with 21%, followed by Los Angeles with 17%.
