Karlee, who is known for rescuing dogs, received a call from some pals about a situation involving a group of puppies residing under a pile of wood at a construction site that was being taken down.

Residents in the area made an attempt to save some puppies, but it was not successful as the poor creatures were too scared. Karlee came to their rescue by offering them food and drink which eventually coaxed them out of hiding. With Karlee’s help, they managed to capture all of the puppies, but their mother was still missing. After a few days, they were able to locate her, but she appeared to be more timid than her pups. A helpful community member who often feeds her came up with a clever plan to lure the mother dog. He thought that if he took the puppies, the mother would naturally follow.

The dad gathered up all the little doggies and hopped in his car for a quick 10-minute ride over to Karlee’s place. Can you believe it? The momma pup was right there alongside me the entire way!

Along the way, they had to make frequent stops for water breaks to accommodate her, but everything turned out fine in the end. Eventually, after about a week, the mother felt comfortable enough to come inside the house and spend time with her kids, which brought her great relief.

This just shows how a mother is willing to go above and beyond for her kids.
