Twinkle was saved two months ago by California residents Xavier Hernández and his mother. The little girl’s family helped her recover from her wounded heart due to three plush animals when they discovered the dog was pregnant shortly after they saved her. Unfortunately, the little girl lost her kids in childbirth.
Xavier’s mother made the decision to bring Twinkle home to be a part of her family after discovering her residing in substandard conditions during a recent trip to Mexico.
Her new family did not learn that she was pregnant until she returned to Twinkle.
Twinkle gave birth last week. She was supposed to give birth to three cubs, but sadly none of them survived. Twinkle was understandably sad and despondent, so her family devised a plan to assist her in mending her heartbreak.
Xavier’s mom bought three stuffed animals for Twinkle to snuggle with.
Even though Twinkle lost her babies, the toys could never fully replace them, but having them around appears to make her feel better.
As he stated to Buzzfeed:
She won’t allow anybody touch them and won’t do anything without them.
