“I don’t want a girlfriend!” Kevin Durant opens up on relationships and women

Kevin Durant’s relationship history is relatively private, with the exception of his brief engagement to former WNBA player, Monica Wright.

Kevin Durant recently appeared on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, where he revealed that he is currently single. He further explained that he has come to understand that even in a relationship, a woman is her own person and may be influenced by others.

KD then clarified that he hasn’t had his heart broken, but rather has gained a deeper understanding of relationships. He emphasized that he focuses on enjoying the moment and doesn’t get attached to any one person.

Cuz I don’t want a girlfriend. I wouldn’t say I had my heart broken… I started to understand women a little bit more… Early on I understood that like she’s not mine, even if she may be my girlfriend, she might be influenced by other people… I don’t trip on that relationship. If we having a good time for a moment then cool, if you end up venturing off and I do too, it is what it is.

Kevin Durant on the Impaulsive podcast

The conversation with Kevin Durant and the podcast hosts, including Mike Majlak and IShowSpeed, was light-hearted and humorous at times. Durant even joked about only being able to be with someone for a few days.

Durant’s relationship history is relatively private, with the exception of his brief engagement to former WNBA player Monica Wright. Since their split, he appears to have avoided serious relationships or has kept them out of the public eye.

Kevin Durant admits he notices “Baddies” in the stands, including Rihanna

Kevin Durant also on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive podcast, revealed that he does indeed notice attractive women (or “baddies”) in the stands during games. When asked if he gets distracted by heckling fans or celebrities, Durant admitted that he acknowledges them.

He even mentioned that he’s noticed celebrities like Rihanna, who he had a memorable exchange with during the 2017 NBA Finals.

Durant even joked about how hard it is not to notice Rihanna. His honesty about noticing attractive women is relatable and harmless, especially given that he’s reportedly single.

The incident with Rihanna during the 2017 NBA Finals was a memorable one, with her trying to trash-talk Durant and him responding by taking over the game and leading the Warriors to a win. His comments on the podcast are a fun reminder of his confidence and sense of humor.
