Isiah Thomas, who played against Michael Jordan many times, believes that LeBron James is the greatest basketball player of all time.
The 59-year-old legend recently made a controversial statement on social media when he implicitly assessed LeBron James as greater than Michael Jordan, who is always considered the GOAT (Greatest Of All Time) of basketball.
“The best and most complete player I’ve ever seen in my life is King James, both on and off the field. He passes the eye test and every number in the statistical category. We know who the GOAT is,” Thomas commented on social media.

Thomas is not the first person to make such a statement on social media. However, his history of confrontation and animosity with Jordan has contributed to the fierce debate.
“Please, you mentioned the concept off the court, so I will say that no player in NBA history has had as much impact as Michael Jordan. LeBron James is just a copy,” commented Diego Escobar . Meanwhile, 1berto commented : “Culture is not just sneakers and clothes, but also political impact, social trends, influential statements and role models for the new generation. LeBron James does this better.”
The debate over whether LeBron James or Michael Jordan is greater has been going strong for years. Thomas, one of the 30 greatest players in NBA history, is the latest to weigh in on the issue.
