The Princess of Wales announced that she had completed chemotherapy on September 9 and has not made any public appearances since. Therefore, Kate’s return to the Festival of Remembrance this time has received a lot of attention.
For the royal ceremony, the Princess of Wales wore a black dress and heels. She paired her elegant and sophisticated outfit with a quilted Chanel clutch and jewelry, including Princess Diana’s Collingwood pearl earrings. Meanwhile, the Prince of Wales looked dapper in a blue suit.

The event was also attended by King Charles III; Prince Edward and his wife, Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh; Princess Anne and her husband, Vice Admiral Sir Timothy Laurence. Queen Camilla did not appear as she is battling a chest infection, forcing her to cancel all her engagements over the past week. King Charles himself is battling cancer.
The following day, Remembrance Sunday, Kate Middleton and the rest of the royal family will appear at the Cenotaph war memorial in London to remember those who have died in war and conflict. These annual ceremonies usually take place in the second week of November and the Princess of Wales has attended every one since marrying William in 2011.
Earlier, on September 9, Kate Middleton announced that she had completed chemotherapy after revealing her cancer diagnosis months earlier, causing great confusion among her fans. In her announcement on social media, Kate said: “As the summer comes to an end, I cannot tell you how relieved I am to finally complete my chemotherapy treatment.”

“The past nine months have been incredibly difficult for us as a family. Life as you know it can change in the blink of an eye and we have had to navigate stormy waters and an unknown path,” Kate continued.
Kate Middleton later described her cancer journey as “complicated, scary and unpredictable”. She said her current goal was to do everything she could to “keep cancer away”.
“Although I have completed chemotherapy, my road to full healing and recovery is long and I must continue to live each day as it is,” she said.
The mother of three continued to express her excitement at being able to attend more public events, sharing that she has a “feeling of hope and appreciation for her new life”.
“William and I are so grateful for the support we have received and have drawn tremendous strength from everyone who is helping us at this time. The kindness, empathy and compassion shown by everyone has truly humbled us.”
