Ariana Grande has already made headlines for wearing flower-adorned dresses worthy of this year’s “The Garden of Time” Met Gala dress code. The singer went a little more regal tonight, wearing a custom Loewe corset gown fit for a princess. Her blonde hair was worn up in her signature ponytail. The singer showed off the detail of her multi-colored dress skirt to photographers:

Grande has only attended the Met Gala once before, back in May 2018. For that year’s “Heavenly Bodies: Fashion and The Catholic Imagination” theme, Grande brought the Sistine Chapel to the red carpet in a Vera Wang ball gown that was screen-printed with Michelangelo’s The Last Judgement, which famously adorns the church’s altar wall.
The Met Gala marks Grande’s first big fashion event since releasing her album Eternal Sunshine on March 8.
The singer has spoken candidly about how nervous she was to share the intimate project. She told Zach Sang of The Zach Sang Show that she hopes the album quiets the rumors about her personal life. “I think it does,” she said. “I think it’s the absolute worst idea. I’m so nervous because pieces of it touch on things that are real and then pieces of it are also just like, yeah, part of the concept. So what is that separation, and it’s so scary to leave it up to these selective memory people to decipher. It’s scary, but I digress. Too late, the vinyls have been printed.”
