HHT – The Queen of Malaysia expressed her intention to adopt a 2-year-old girl with “werewolf syndrome”. She considered this meeting as “fateful” and sent a letter to the girl’s parents.

Malaysia’s Queen Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah has expressed her desire to adopt a baby girl whom she calls a “child from Heaven”.

That is Missclyen Roland, 2 years old. She has werewolf syndrome – a rare disease – with a lot of hair on her face and upper body, and has been born without normal nostrils. The Malaysian queen met this girl in mid-September, when she visited Sarawak state with King Sultan Abdullah Ahmad Shah, according to AsiaOne .

In a letter to the girl’s parents, the Queen affirmed that she would cover all educational and medical expenses for Missclyen.

The girl’s mother, Theresa Guntin, said the Queen’s offer was “a great honour”, telling her daughter: “You are so lucky, I hope everything goes well”. The girl’s father, Roland Jimbai, cried tears of joy when he read the Queen’s letter. Roland, a welder, told the New Sarawak Tribune : “So our little girl Missclyen is going to be a princess.”

Missclyen’s parents said that in the past, they were discriminated against by many people because of her strange appearance. Now they hope that she will be treated and respected when the Queen adopts her.

In September, Roland and his family waited for five hours to meet the King and Queen – whom he had only seen online and on TV. Roland’s family’s efforts were not in vain, as the King and Queen were very interested in the family and even took pictures with baby Missclyen. The Queen held and hugged the baby, couldn’t let go, and then wrote the above letter asking to adopt the baby.
