Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo is suffering from terrible mental effects, having recently received information that no one wants to hear.

Although he always shows admirable mental strength, Cristiano Ronaldo sometimes has to fall into situations that affect him psychologically. In a heavy blow for Ronaldo, the Al Nassr striker suffered the loss of one of his twin children last year. Now, Cristiano Ronaldo is mourning the loss of another family member.

According to Mundo Deportivo, Ronaldo’s aunt, Gorete, passed away suddenly at her home in Australia. The cause of death of Ronaldo’s beloved aunt has not yet been revealed, which further increases the mystery surrounding this heartbreaking event. “Today the sky has another star, rest in peace, sister,” Ronaldo’s mother Dolores Aveiro wrote on Instagram to share about the irreparable loss. 

Although he moved to Australia, Gorete still maintained a very close relationship with Ronaldo’s family, especially when Ronaldo and his siblings were young. In a post on her Instagram account, Ronaldo’s sister Elma Aveiro expressed her feelings: “This is life. Rest in peace, dear aunt.” Katia Aveiro, another sister of Ronaldo, shared precious moments with aunt Gorete, such as Gorete buying school supplies for Ronaldo and his sisters when they were children.  

“Go peacefully and peacefully, dear aunt, may God give you strength,” Katia wrote such emotional lines on social networks.
