Arsenal prodigy Chido Obi-Martin is about to become a new player for Man United with a big contract, when the Red Devils made a deal to recruit the 16-year-old striker right under the noses of big rivals in the Premier League.
Manchester United are set to sign Arsenal youngster Chido Obi-Martin and are set to sign the striker who scored 10 goals in a single game against Liverpool , according to reports in England . It would be United’s first major transfer to Arsenal since the 2018 swap deal for Alexis Sanchez, which saw Danny Welbeck move in the opposite direction.

And to prove that this performance was not just a one-off, Chido Obi-Martin scored four goals against Crystal Palace and one against Fulham. Fans were still amazed to learn that the talented teenager had previously scored five goals against West Ham and seven against Norwich.

With the signing of Chido Obi-Martin, the Old Trafford club face another problem. Manchester United fear that £52m signing Leny Yoro will be out for a long time with a foot injury. Yoro was injured in a pre-season friendly defeat to Arsenal 2-1 and was seen on crutches as he left his US training base.
United are assessing the situation before providing an official update on their new centre-back, but manager Erik ten Hag does not expect 18-year-old Yoro to be fit for the start of the new Premier League season.
The defender has just signed a deal that makes him the fifth most expensive teenager ever. Yoro has previously made 60 appearances for French side Lille and his talent is enough to make a move at Old Trafford. United beat off interest from Real Madrid for the youngster and make him their second signing after Joshua Zirkzee.
However, it remains unclear when Yoro will return to the pitch as he begins his recovery from injury. Ten Hag’s side have played three pre-season friendlies ahead of the new campaign, with two defeats and one win.
