Ivan Toney can resume training for Brentford next month in accordance with the terms of his gambling-related suspension.
The forward played 33 Premier League outings with 20 goals last season, and Football Transfers had reported in March that Brentford was prepared to sell him this summer for £50 million.
A transfer is currently off the table due to Toney’s subsequent ban, which may have further diminished his worth. but not his aptitude or desire.
