Typically, Kevin Durant’s new signature shoes are released towards the end of the NBA season, with KD himself often wearing the new shoes during the Playoffs. With that, the first look at the Nike KD 17 (revealed by @sharkicks1) is right on schedule as we expect an official release in April 2024. This first look at the KD 17 has revealed a fresh design that draws inspiration from some of the key silhouettes from the 1990s. Right from the start, the Air Max Plus influence can be seen through the magma candle-inspired outer frame. The midsole design also shares some similarities with the Air Talaria running shoe, albeit without the signature lines etched into the foam.
