Diddy assaulted his ex-girlfriend at a hotel
In the video, Ventura walks out of her hotel room and into a bank of elevators. Sean “Diddy” Combs, with a towel wrapped around his waist, runs down the hallway after Ventura. He grabs Ventura by the back of the neck and throws her to the floor. Sean “Diddy” Combs, still holding the towel with one hand, then turns around and kicks Ventura.
As Ventura lay on the ground, Sean “Diddy” Combs grabbed a purse and suitcase from the floor near the elevator. Sean “Diddy” Combs turned around and kicked Ventura again as she lay motionless on the floor. In the video, Sean “Diddy” Combs can be seen kicking Ventura repeatedly. Sean “Diddy” Combs then grabbed Ventura’s sweatshirt and dragged her back to her room. In another angle, Ventura slowly got up and turned around to collect the items that were thrown on the floor.
Shortly after the video was released by CNN, Sean “Diddy” Combs apologized in a video posted on Instagram: “My behavior in that video was inexcusable. I take full responsibility for my actions in that video.”
Ventura, for her part, has remained silent on CNN’s video. “This heartbreaking video only further underscores the disturbing pattern of harassment and predatory behavior exhibited by Mr. Combs,” said Douglas H. Wigdor, an attorney for Ventura. “There are no words to describe the courage and resilience that Ms. Ventura has shown in coming forward to bring this matter to light.”
Combs and singer/model Ventura were together from 2007 to 2018. According to Ventura’s complaint, she states that the altercation occurred “in or about March 2016,” with Combs “being extremely intoxicated and punching Ventura in the face, causing her to suffer a black eye.”
After Combs fell asleep, Ventura attempted to leave the hotel room, but he woke up and “followed her, screaming.”
“He grabbed her and then grabbed glass vases from the hallway and threw them at her, causing the surrounding glass to shatter as she ran to the elevator to escape,” the complaint said.
“Realizing that her escape would only anger Mr. Combs further, and leave her completely trapped in his cycle of abuse, Ms. Ventura returned to the hotel with the intention of apologizing for running away from her abuser,” the complaint states.
The complaint alleges Combs paid the InterContinental Century City $50,000 for the hallway security footage. In the complaint, Ventura claims she was raped in 2018 and subjected to years of physical and other abuse by Combs.
“Mr. Combs vehemently denies these outrageous and ridiculous allegations,” Combs’ attorney, Ben Brafman, said in a statement to CNN on the day the lawsuit was filed.
Most recently, another woman named Thalia Graves accused music mogul Sean “Diddy” Combs and his bodyguard of drugging and assaulting her in 2001 and filming it.
Thalia Graves
Thalia Graves alleges that she met Combs when she was 25 through her boyfriend, who worked at Combs’s Bad Boy Records label. Sometime in the summer of 2001, while in a car with Combs and his bodyguard Joseph Sherman, she was offered a glass of wine and then felt “dizzy, lightheaded and physically weak”.
Thalia Graves passed out and then woke up naked in a Manhattan studio with her hands tied behind her back. Combs entered the room and raped her, slamming her head into a pool table when she tried to resist, according to the lawsuit. Thalia Graves also said she was sexually assaulted by Sherman, Combs’ assistant.
The incident is currently causing a stir across Hollywood.
