At 5 a.m. each day, a street sweeper in Bangkok brings his 1-year-old mixed-breed dog to work, so it doesn’t feel lonely, evoking a profound emotional resonance within us
If you have a dog, you’ll understand why we wish we could bring them to work with us so we could spend all of our time with them. A photo of a Bangkok, Thailand, public cleaner doing her job while carrying her tiny dog on her back was recently shared on Facebook.
Mazda, a one-year-old black and white dog with a Poodle and Shih Tzu mix who has fallen in love with everyone on social media, is Thitirat Keowa-adoptive ram’s mother.
Thitirat doesn’t appear to mind Mazda’s weight of about 10 kg. She likes wearing it to work, according to the Bangkok Post.
Mazda is shown silently hanging from a vest connected to Thitirat’s back like a knapsack while she sweeps the streets of a Bangkok neighborhood, unfazed by traffic or bystanders.
Thitirat said he got Mazda a year ago from a friend and that he is a lovely youngster who is never grumpy when they are together.
She claims she always gets up at 3 a.m. to get ready for work, and she brings her dog with her so she is not alone at home.
Mazda has even developed its own raincoat to keep you dry when it rains.
While this may appear uncommon to some, it’s encouraging to see an owner who cares so much about their pet that they don’t want them to be alone when they’re not at home
